Sisyphus was a King of Corinth, whose name actually means “crafty” in Greek. And because of his crafty deceptions, his punishment in Hades was to roll a heavy stone up a hill, but whenever he reached to the top, the stone would roll right back down again.
So Sisyphean task is one of those tasks, that no matter how close you get to the end, something else comes up and you feel like it is never going to end, or that you almost feel like you are starting over again.
For your homework have you ever had a Sisyphean task?
