yeh … funny how we (meaning “i”) just accept the mythology that’s trotted out over the years about history, esp Germany and wwi and wwii.
But the eye-opening barefaced propaganda re Iraq, Iran, and Libya (and the currently ongoing bleedin’ obvious propaganda promoting the destruction of Syria in prep for the Iran attack) forces a re-evaluation away from “good guys v. bad guys”.
The big threat to the US is China – the US want’s total control of all oil that China has access to. The US want’s total control of all nations that China has significant trade with. In Africa, China is win via good trading. The US counters with subverting local politics, organization of local opposition into militarized rebels, and finally, direct military intervention (for reasons of bringing “democracy”) with all the death, misery, destruction and chaos that entails (“democracy”, US style).
So .. this isn’t all new .. it was practised by the brit empire, and continued by the US empire. (The US empire is just the Brit empire with new head offices) Germany was part of this history and it fought back.
