I have listened to Russian radio before with a good friend of mine. It amazes me, although it really shouldn’t, that morning drive time radio sounds the same. The cadence and tone of what the radio personalities are saying seem like they all went to the same school. Even the bumper noise, those little sound bits they play coming out of a commercial came from the same place.
I am sure it was great for you to hear your name coming from your home town radio. I hope those are the same people you heard while you were studying for your exams. That would have made it even more special.
The only two words I could understand was your name. I sounds like a great compliment towards you as the way the are talking kinda joyfully.
