Shout out to those who made backgrounds for me!
Last week I made a tweet looking to see if someone could make a background image of all my Video Thumbnails and whoa!! I got some GREAT responses! So I decided to showcase them here:
First off we have a couple images from @DawsonFever who made a beautiful pink background one as well!
Next up, @eren_yilmaz made these great images:

email notifications not working for comments… though I believe they are supposed to. I hope having that other plugin on while activating buddypress didn’t kill them
OK, I’ll try some tests.
I’m getting all kinds of other notifications,
but haven’t tried the reply to comment one.
Test reply after turning comment notification OFF, then back ON again to see if it will re-initialize.
I did the same thing.. no go
i’m going to turn back on that plugin.. though I don’t think I am supposed to need it.. the settings in the BuddyPress say Notification for Replies and Comments.. so I’m assuming Comments are out here in the comments area.. unless there is a comments area in the backend.
Yes, I tried different things and I see no replies.
The other notifications like friends request acknowledgments are working.
At this moment, there is one friend request that has been accepted, but I am not able to acknowledge it. When I click, nothing happens. Normally, it would send me to my profile page.
I was able to acknowledge the friend request by navigating to my profile and clicking on Pending Requests. Now, the notification is off.
Email notifications are working great now.

One like eren_yilmaz (1) with all the pics arranged like a camera obturator would be great. But including all of them because there’s missing one. An important one

There are some issues with pulling images
from that site. You can upload an image
to this site. Your image would then be
called an avatar.
Click on your name which will take you
to your personal channel. Click the profile

change all of your images.

Ahh Yes, There is so much great talent lurking on the Hot For Words comment boards !!! A great idea Marina, to turn H4W, from a ‘One Woman Band’ into an ‘Orchestra’ ! and use some of that great talent in the audience to fill-out the orchestra, and you Marina will be the conductor !!! [so as to keep some semblance of 'order' to these proceedings ! , as you know what happens to a classroom when the teacher is absent !!! How well I remember 8th grade math class !!! :grin: LOL ]
A decade ago (?) one of the LA County Art Museums (MOCA ?) had a David Hockney Retrospective. It wasn’t until I saw one of his earliest polaroid montages of a swimming pool with lots of people around the pool (from a private collection -as it’s not on the DH webpage when I StartPage.com searched for it just now) that I finally understood why Hockney was so famous. So many of the individual photos were amazing, stunning, trippy, in themselves, and when organized into the whole ensamble it gained in the translation !

I’m seeing a collage of Marina photos, arranged to make Marina’s face (or more of her) by the aggregate collection !!! , like Hockney might have done !

I’d take on the artistic challenge to do the above idea, but !, I’m still struggling with understanding the 1945 Wheeler-Feynman paper on “Interaction with the Absorber as the Mechanism of Radiation”, which will have some bearing on what I’m doing a month from now.

(your video on Retarded came out within days of when I downloaded that W-F science paper, after waiting years for it to be available after I couldn’t find it anywhere back then).

I was just looking at the Twitter widget over there on the right. It looks great. Love that widget. At the bottom it has thumbs of your followers. At this moment, the first thumb is a guy in the red shirt and glasses. That’s Philip Kaplan aka as Pud who started a site many moons ago called FuckedCompany.com a play on FastCompany.com Those were the good ole days of corporate rumor mongering and an interesting Forum. Interesting guy and background.
