I don’t have any Spoonerisms. Did you ever think of doing a video about Yogi-isms, so named for Yogi Berra, who came up with such gems as:
“Nobody goes there anymore… it’s too crowded!”
“It gets late early out there.”
“It’s like dÃ©jÃ -vu all over again.”
“When you come to a fork in the road, take it.”
“90 % of this game (baseball) is half mental.”
“I’m getting tired of having to answer stupid questions I don’t have any answer to.”
“It ain’t over ’til it’s over.”
“A nickel ain’t worth a dime anymore.”
“I’m not going to buy my kids an encyclopedia. Let them walk to school like I did.”
“It ain’t the heat. It’s the humility.”
“You can observe a lot by just watching.”
“Always go to other people’s funerals. Otherwise, they might not come to yours.”

We have seen a lot of the Nike outlet as of late. Some have featured simple colorways while the other Dunks carry over the top colorways that are sure to attract attention. Well here we see a Womens Nike Dunk that may have one of the loudest colorways seen in a while. This Nike shoes High is created exclusively for the ladies. The shoe features bright yellow uppers with black synthetic material on the side panels, collar area, and toe box. The outsole, toe, heel and many other areas use Speed Yellow. White is placed on areas such as the midsole and tongue while Cool Mint is featured on the shoe laces. The ladies are bound to love these just because of the fresh colorway. The best “Spoonerism” joke I have seen was written on a bathroom stall wall at the University of Colorado at Denver in 1983. Only the question was there. The answer appeared two weeks later.

Thanks for making a video about spoonerisms Marina. I’ve been wanting to see that for ages :D

As far as spoonerisms go, I remember my mum used to saying things like, Swimney Cheep (Chimney Sweep) as well as Chooked Cicken (Cooked Chicken). The “Tuck Sitties” title cracked me up too :lol:

my dad used to use spoonerisms all the time. Every once in a while, he would accidentally get something funny. One that sticks in my mind to this day was wristmas chrapping paper. :???:

That was interesting reading. Not sure if all of it is true and the one about the raining cats and dogs is a myth that’s been told over and over again. Did you ever get to see Marina’s video about Raining Cats & Dogs video? It’s a great lesson and can be found here.
