He isn't a farmer but Midwestern rural type of guy. Let's put it this way- about 40 to 50 years ago he and his wife were to meet another couple for "dinner". They of course were at the restaurant at noon, no friends in sight. The other couple was there around 6:00, no friends in sight. Three of them had a good laugh but my father-in-law still rants about it today. Maybe the safest way to go is when the meal is ready, holler out "Time to Eat!"

Is he from the country or a farmer? As I grew up in the city, dinner was supper. Then I moved to the country and dinner was lunch or the biggest meal of the day. Caused some confusion! For instance, I would say, "Hey, Joe. When we gonna be done scraping these hog pens?" A painful and man-making job. Joe would say, "Oh, around dinner!" Now, if it was 10:00 am when he said this, and I'm thinking we got another 7 or 8 hours on the scraper, I would be so confused I would almost start crying! I sure was glad when I got that straightened out :!: ;-)

Can you tell me about [FATHER FROST] the communist russian version of Santa Claus? I once saw a real nice old black and white soviet era cartoon of the winter and christmas season in russia. Sledding in the snow or something. I guess the Russians love their children too as the song by Sting of the Police suggests. I had heard a Network Europe recorded program about christmas in europe on euronet and radio netherlands. We all got $50.00 each from dad each year at christmas. dad was a factory worker.

Whether or not an item of attire is considered 'Gay' - <a href="http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=4ZJQMdFuxZYC&pg=PA24&lpg=PA24&dq=foppish+male+attire&source=bl&ots=DiqSxqJ5ew&sig=5UmvmmE3pCyjs4jssq1YY0G1p0c&hl=en&ei=k8I8S4WnGYfa0wSRtomSBQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=4&ved=0CBYQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=foppish%20male%20attire&f=false" rel="nofollow">[foppish]</a> - is just a matter of current socially accepted fashion.
Would anyone have accused <a href="url pointed to" rel="nofollow">Charles II</a> of being gay because of his manner of dress?
If you can put up with the slurs from those who don't have the balls to wear what they like, then go for it.

Sorry to hear that; how about these two things:

1) Hitting Ctrl-A (the control and a keys simultaneously). Or Edit menu -> Select All.

2) Say you want to go to reply number 91.1.1. Then use the Browser's search feature (Ctrl-F or Edit menu -> Find) to search for "says: 91.1.1" (without the quotes) or just for the number 91.1.1.

It's not which reply button to press, it's that after posting the reply, WP returns to the top of the blog, forcing me to scroll down to where I replied from.

I'm using the library's LCD display and cranking up the contrast hasn't revealed the numbers.
