I've wondered why they haven't utilized nuclear energy in space more. For nothing else, a "recharging" station to replenish batteries since electrical power is so precious. Don't know how they can utilize it propulsion-wise, though; and after reading the article, still don't. Reactors are very heavy and even with the"electrical-rocket system" you would have to have another source of fuel. More weight. But then, what do I know!! ;-)

Oh yeah. I'd a took a sammich but there wasn't one to take! Like BB said, "I heard the rats tell the bedbugs to leave the roaches some." Nothing like flipping on the light at night and watch the whole floor move.

Growing up in a city, like Cincinnati must have been something else...Russia hopes nuclear ship will fly humans to Mars...preliminary design could be ready by 2012, and then it would take nine more years and cost 17 billion rubles (about $600 million, or euro400 million)
you do the math
 to build the ship.

"The project is aimed at implementing large-scale space exploration programs, including a manned mission to Mars, interplanetary travel, the creation and operation of planetary outposts....[regulations] are what it is...One more thing to think about buddy-bee...Now Mr. Brin, the billionaire co-founder of Google, is giving $1 million to the society, widely known as HIAS, which helped his family escape anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union and establish itself here....how is money the mother slave-driver???? The gift is small, given Mr. Brin's estimated $16 billion in personal wealth, but he said it signaled a growing commitment by him and his wife, Anne Wojcicki, to engage more substantially in philanthropy.
you do the math

No, can't say I have. Not really into the feet unless they wanted me to be. I do anything and everything to make the woman happy. When you know that you are making them feel like nobody else has, thats what makes me happy. Sometimes that involved things were you could barely look each other in the eye the next morning or didn't want to kiss until you brushed your teeth 2 or 3 times but its all good!

There you have it. Awsome Bill was going around in a garbage truck pre-plate. Now, they're in bullets and can't even pass unless they got a convoy ready to come out with them. Give'em a pre-determined amount of fuel and tires. If they burn them up early, then they'll be dry and bald by the end so you would still have strategy. It just seems wrong to have to keep your foot to the floorboard and tap the brakes going into the corner.

Thanx. Adversity builds character and I have been told many times I am quite a character! That, my sense of humor and kinda good looks helped out alot when shit was really going sour. Girls won't make fun of you near as much for wearing the same clothes(because you don't have any others) if you have the look, the line and can make them laugh! In fact, a little something to help out with lunch would usually result ;-) . People may read that and take it how they want but they have probably never gone to bed hungry. I still don't waste food and think ill of people who do. Thanx for the time...

Howdy, beevee!

I've been watching NASCAR a LONG time. In my opinion, the problems at the fast tracks are all aero-related. The simplest fix would be for NASCAR to dirty-up the aerodynamics of the cars more. Remember Bill Elliott's still-current single lap speed record of 212+ mph was done in what, a 1988 T-Bird? And compared to today's cars that thing was a brick moving through the air. That's admittedly a simplistic solution, but I think it should be the focus.

Regarding the rest of your post: I think you & I are long-lost brothers. We all have our crosses to bear. And those who haven't received any yet-they're coming. Sounds to me like you have a pretty strong back.

I'm sorry to hear about your brother. How long ago? Did you have some asshole come up and say, "I know how you feel?" I don't but can relate. I have(had?) a sister who was murdered and another one with Downs Syndrome who was raped by her father. My parents divorced when I was 11. My mom kicked us out when I was 13 to the Old Man, who in turn kicked me out(to keep his wife and step kids) when I was 15; putting me in the Cincinnati Public School system. No way to describe it really. Suffice to say, you couldn't go to bathroom by yourself. I got caught out, got jumped(68 stitches around my left eye-thats when I switched to contacts  ), and quit. Just a brief overview. I have broken or been a party to all ten commandments and the seven deadly sins(if you believe in that sort of thing  ), and lived an outlaw lifestyle for a long time. Now, I realize it is all about Karma and try to live correct to pay it back and pay it forward for my daughter. Sometimes, Bad Karma isn't delivered upon you but the ones you love the most; and that is the worst kind. Don't know why I did this, but it is cathartic ;-) , I guess. Maybe I'm making ammends for strange postings :?: :???: That or the pain-killers are kicking in(who knew they had so many different uses for Vicodin  )
