Great appearance, Marina! Just one thought: wouldn’t it have been helpful to show the German words for “break a leg” (brech ein Bein) and how similar the Hebrew sounded to that?

  • greatestpotential

I remember the HotForWords Vespucci lesson from like years ago. See it on YouTube.

    FAR OUT!!!!!

  • lvecsey

you really dialed up the hotness on this one marina! it looks like they were able to pack in plenty more word definitions this time. I know this must take lots of preparation but they did a good job near the end making it look like you just pulled the answer out on the spot, from the top of your head ;)

Waiting for Marina to post the clip. :|

  • Venomrock67

I hope it was okay to post the link for the factor appearance :???:

  • greatestpotential

    seems no harm was done

Sure. M will place a post later. I’m sill bummed. I can’t watch you link for the video won’t load. :-( Might be my flash player is outdated. I can’t upgrade it any further. Oh well, I’ll just have to wait I guess.

  • Venomrock67

I hope so, you see when I went to submit my comment CJ’s comment I guess was coming in at the same time and it said “waiting for Marina to post clip” in large letters so I thought he was telling me what’s going on, but actually he was submitting his own comment so he’ll probably be baffled by my reply. Oh well I guess I shouln’t worry about it.

Took a break to watch the interview … I think this is your best TV presence to date. You are very confident and proud. You are also very serious and yet like a friendly kitten at the same time.

(A WILD guess on my part that could very well be totally off the mark: you were able to show yourself as yourself because of your respect and love for O’Reilly and you felt you have lived up to being able to admire him.)

You looked so beautiful and blonde and nice red lips that you and your hairstyle reminded me of a Michelle Wisniewski a former girlfriend from high school. We went to different schools together. But you are infinitely more intelligent and educated than Michelle. I wanted to kiss you all over as the song went..That word Humble Pie was a good one. My circumstances are humble ones so that is why I think God gives me so many spiritual dreams and revelations. But he also gave me dreams about having another wife. My first one was very disrespectful. Was divorced a long time ago.

Marina, don’t you wish you could first write down the stuff that you want to say, and later have something to read off of?
I don’t know, maybe with experience, that need goes away.
I tend to forget half of the things I want to say when I’m speaking publicly. :P

My former wife was “Feisty” and argumentative like one of Marina’s word discussions.

  • greatestpotential

I guess “former” says pretty much it, hu(huh)
well, at least you have that experience of having been married and having gone through trials and tribulations, etc.

`My computer wiped this out. I was saying that there must be some conspiracy to keep me cellbate. Politicians, the police, maybe the CIA.
My repsonse was to say BYE BYE CHEM!! I used to liken it to the Russian burning their wheat in the fields to deny the food to the invading Nazis in World War II. Or “career suicide” like the Japanese inthe novel Shogun who committed Hari Kari in protest of the government. So, I called it career suicide. Got alot of hate for the pleaureless government sceince fags. `

  • stigmatasaurus

Thanks for the correction. I was trying for a literal translation, but obviously as with many idioms (idia?), they don’t translate word for word into another language. Interesting that the German version includes breaking the neck as well as the leg!

  • greatestpotential

If in was me in that position, which of course it isn’t, after a long hard day I like to stretch out, drop my boxers, and let my wife make me forget about all that stuff.

  • Rijk

Well you can say a lot about the Germans, but not that they aren’t thorough.
