I don’t go out drinking often, so it has been a few years since I felt drunk. But I don’t think my hangover was that bad. All I had the night before was a Long island Iced Tea, a shot of Jagermeister, and a Bloody Mary. (I think I had a Sex On A Beach as well, I don’t remember)

PS: The music video (above link) is a Ferrari hangover from Monaco. The music video gives me a hangover… remembering Tina Turner’s white panties as she shimmied at the edge of the stage at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney as I knelt at stage edge, switching lenses and looking up her dress as she sang to me and a few in the front for a moment. Seconds later, as she finished the song, she once again looked down on me, saw that I had the lens mounted to the camera and smiled as I got the shot of her face. That… is a hangover: Tina Turner’s sheer white panties on a hot summer night in Sydney Australia! In the video, she sings with Eros Ramazzoti. Homework:I don’t get hangovers… Unless I drink Jack Daniels. Don’t know why. The first time I had Jack I was 18 :roll: and got sick in the night. Next day I had to take a school trip for band, yes I am a band geek, about 125 miles away. On the way up I kept saying to my friend sitting next to me “I’m going to blow chunks” and he would say to me “No your not.” And I would say “Yes I am”, and he would say “you do and you’ll be sorry.”
Anyway long story short (too late huh). I was able to keep it down.
It didn’t clear up till I got back home later that day.

Just as enjoyable as the first time, if not more so.

I’ve always wondered what the etymology of the word [dinghy] is. The word has been used to describe some sort of sailing craft and is also one of Chris Farley’s invincible lines: Quit playing with your [dinghy!]

1) Very much like Dostoevsky in the sense of an artistically brilliant depiction of utter rottenness/filth. Origin of “Hangover” is briefly mentioned, much footage is devoted to showing the meaning of “Hangover”. Even the outtakes is not really outtakes but an Appendix that goes into even more details on the rottenness of hangover. Hard to watch more than once. Do not show this to people in the Movie industry — they will typecast you into depicting rotten characters forever.

2) I have to know: You released this lesson twice before (and withdrew it each time). What is the difference between this version and the previous two versions? Why were the previous two versions withdrawn?

3) Regarding the bedroom scene at the end, that is a [desecration]. A bedroom is a sacred place for lovemaking (this doesn’t mean that it is the only place!) — and what was done in that bedroom was [blasphemy] toward that sacredness. That is not your bedroom that has been shown in various videos and pics; you actually know the person whose bedroom that is and who let such things happen there?

This lesson was very well done and I liked your drunk sister which gave me a few laughs. I had saved the 2nd upload on July 16th and had watched it several times since and watching the video above, it seemed it was a brand new video, even though it is identical.

I loved the Carrot Top and Viagra reference. You are a hoot. I love this video. Did I mention that it was very well done?

Marina! You tell me off for smoking yet you have a CIGAR!!! Urrgh I HATE cigars! They mell awful, and I would never smoke one EVER! That’s because when this vid was first put up it didn’t stay up for long. There was some issue about content. Showing a booze bottle or whatever (some quibble) and so Marina decided to take the vid down and redo it.

If I remember correctly, Marina posted this video on July 15th. I think it was early evening Calif time. I was at work and I didn’t get to see the video on my iPhone yet as YT hadn’t rendered it yet. When I got home, the video had been pulled. On the 16th, Marina uploaded it again and shortly thereafter, the video was pulled again. The first video had maybe about 20-30 comments and was pulled just before Europe is waking up. I don’t know why it was pulled twice.

Homework :grin: AWESOME lesson :!: I have never had a hangover. I usually don’t drink too much. But one time I drank two STRONG Piña coladas and I got a buzz! The really bad thing was that I was also on cruise ship and it felt like the ship moving more than it was! One big hangover since last session in October 2008!! Did grab two pints of Guiness a few weeks ends back, rather mished, cheap! 4 hours, wow, thats ages….OMG!!! FFFFFFFOUR HOURS before launch, oooooh, bad one! LOL. really is a life time to hang around! Guys, get help!!!!!! 20 mins hanging around max for me then its up and out again for a really long, hard, intense, powerful, exciting……..run! Last time I got roaring drunk was with Euros Healy some 20-odd years ago at the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol in Porthmadog. We kept downing pints and thinking up horrible things to do to the English. I dealt with the hangover the next day by bicycling 15 miles to Harlech and going for a swim in Cardigan Bay. I got rid of the last of the hangover the next night by going to a noson lawen with my mates and downing another few pints. :grin:

Are you still having issues with your tweets being dropped? I did not have it when you reported having it, but ran into that problem yesterday and today. In TweetDeck, I have a search column that includes searches for my name; after sending a tweet, if I do not see the tweet in that column then I assume it has been lost.

 
Yes hs4mm, the problem still exists and I think it is on the Twitter side. I use TweetGrid.

Yesterday, two tweets showed up in the proper columns, then, the third tweet only a few minutes later did not show up and the tweets did not show up in Twitter.com.

darlingj mentioned on two occasions that he did see my tweets, even though I did not see them.

Check the known issues list. If something persists, I submit a posting and it seems to resolve issues pretty quickly.

Upon further nosing around, it appears that it gives you the current comment + others posted within the same subject post + the last 5 you did before that.

Some who post often only go back a few days because they’ve done 5 in that timeframe – others I’ve seen go back a month or so when they post infrequently – but it’s only a small sampling.

The feature is active in posts going way back, but if you go back there and click on someone you know is active now it doesn’t pick up anything, so there’s some sort of time constraint to the query.

Correction. It DOES work the way I described above even in old lessons going way back.

BUT – if you get over there while you are using the feature and ‘browsing comments’, you are in another ‘mode’ and it won’t show the persons last 5 comments. You have to be there looking at the lesson (with the thumbnail and the vid showing at the top) for it to do that.

I can see how this can be interesting if let’s say you are watching and old lesson and someone leaves an interesting comment but you don’t remember seeing them around recently. You can click their name and see when the last 5 things they’ve posted and when that was? I’m going to play with this more…

Oh, you have no idea what’s going on either? Yeah technology still isn’t bullet proof and is fucked but that’s the way they want it. :roll:

The reason for the plugin is supposed to help the website when it comes to Google Search. Having paged comments caused duplicated content which decreases your position in Google.. so I installed another plugin that removes the post when looking at different pages with comment. That coupled with Valdimir’s plugin should make my website all honkey dory when it comes to Google :-)

about 5 minutes ago or so I clicked on it from a comment from swampwiz

My website is being moved to a cluster to handle the spikes in traffic, so it’s possible to lose access to the site while it’s being moved. Sorry about that!

Yes you can see the 5 most recent posts when clicking on a persons name in an old lesson:

Example: Bob – an OLD comment from him when you click his name will also show his 5 most recent comments too.

Example: An old Monster Grav you haven’t seen around for a year will also show their most recent posts – but they may be 8 months old as they stopped posting back then.

The only exception I’ve found so far is Marina, as when you click on her name in a post it only seems to show 5 of her comments around that time frame – not the 5 most recent…

Looks like this opens the door for another research project PK – cataloging longevity and frequency of HFW subs and posts – cross referenced to content of message and type of Gravitar…for 50,000 people…

perhaps there is a truth to what you say in some circles. I grew up in New York & New Jersey and I had always heard it as “honkey dory”.

Interestingly, several Google searches referenced other people from NJ who referred to it as “honkey dory”.

Your reference to the street in Japan is Honcho-dohri spelled with an “o”. I suppose the dialectical differences between different parts of the US would interpret it in one of those two expressions, either with an “o” or “u”.

What are you guys talking about? It’s only just gone 10 p.m. in France, three hours too early to think of going out partying. Bed isn’t on the cards for another six or seven hours.

OK, my latest hangover was also my worst.
It involved some things, objects, stuff, items and something else I don’t remember.
Nah, jk, it wasn’t that bad.
It did however found me sleeping in a gas station at 3 AM :D

Let me tell it:
So I just passed my last exam last summer, and drank it up a bit.
The mistake was mixing the stuff together… wine, tuica(40% vol.) and a lot of beer, all this combined was the end of me.
All of a sudden I became very funny, and at some point I decided to take a walk to try to sober up. I’m not sure who talked me into walking all the way to a nearby gas station, but then, the nausea kicked in.
I felt pretty bad, and gave up on returning to the house. Instead I thought a quick nap was in order! :-)

Luckily we were in different stages of the queasiness, and my friend reminded me that we’re men, and no booze could bring us down. Later I returned the favor by stopping him from peeing on some tension wires that were lying on the ground, brought down by the wind, I suppose.

I also remember that I accidentally phoned a sweet girl and woke her up at 4 AM, to ask her when was she coming to pick me up. Obviously I meant to phone someone else, a friend that was our designated driver. I still wonder if she’ll ever want to speak to me again.

All and all, it was pretty fucked up, but we laughed all through the night, being the bunch of drunk turds that we were, what did you expect? Now I lay off the alcohol, not because of that night, but mainly because I drive almost everyday.
I now drink socially and occasionally, but never as uncontrolled as I once did last summer. It’s never worth the hangover ;)

For the slender legs photos, Marina used the names: Маринка (dress color marine blue), Виолета (dress color violet), and Ольга (Olga, perhaps a form of Orlova).

For the nude, she used either Ангелика (Angelika).

I suspect there is also a photo in which she uses the name Анжелика (Angelica). If it exists, I have not found this.

To continue: One source for Angelika might be Angel. But the comments for the nude picture concern living conditions in the US. And Marina adds the tag “Los Angeles” to her name.

So Angelika might have originated as a homage to the opportunity for living life afforded by freedom in LA.
