It-Was-AWESOME! :grin: I didn’t go to CC, just met M at the Hyatt. It wasn’t a mob scene so that was good. I really tried to maintain and be cool because I was definitely “star struck”. I really didn’t think I would be, but that all changed the moment I saw her. She is even more beautiful(if you can believe that)in person. HD does not do her justice…not even close. She was so friendly and willing to just sit and chat with everyone. There were a couple helpers with her that were also very cool. I’ll tell ya what Chem, I’m glad Page took a bunch of pictures and Flipvideo otherwise I wouldn’t have remembered half of it. After the meet it was all just a big blur to me…and no, I wasn’t drunk. :lol: The next time she has a book signing or a meet and greet Im sure I’ll be way less of a bumbling bundle of nerves. :shock:

She does have some very pronounced features.
I see how that could be a little overwhelming… Hair so blond, such big lips, blinding white teeth, eyes like you’ve never seen before, and to top everything else, she’s speaking in an intriguing foreign accent. That’s all new territory, nothing of that is easy to get used to from the first meeting. I think you did great, and I think most of us wouldn’t have done any better ourselves.
I admire that you hope to see M again, but I’ll have to adapt today’s quote to the situation:
“There are some experiences in life which should not be demanded twice from any man, and one of them is meeting hotforwords.” :-)

Can someone please indicate how many minutes into the hour she’s on Billo. The next show is at 3am and there’s I’m writing and want to watch a submarine show on another channel… and switch over? Thanks! I checked out the last minutes of the 11pm EST show and got three knockout blondes and Bill’s EMAIL. Boo hoo, talking with my sister. I need to get a media life.

I would say start watching around the :25 minute mark.
The both times I saw it teachers segment started around the :30 minute mark.

Well, it’s a quarter to 4am and I’ve seen the Fox segment (thanks again Pagedoll). I thought the segment was well produced and (as always) REALLY well post-produced!

BUT: With the skill Marina has in makeup, I think her “look” needs to be more carefully managed than it was tonight- so that her effectiveness as on-air talent (and “budding” author) is maximized. Tonight her beautiful “glam” look didn’t help me “connect” with her talking about bikinis and ants. This was not a girl I wanted to take on a picnic on a summer day. This was a girl I’d like to take to… Monaco, table 5 at Monte Carlo, then across the street to Hotel Du Paris!

When Billo asked if she liked picnics…and she said, “Sure, do you?” the glam got in the way of her natural sweetness and a more engaging relationship with the host and the audience. I just hope the book has photos of her as a girl (one who has come so far in the world some web producer should do a documentary of her as a new kind of self-produced female talent).

I mostly like her as an approachable talent who is still developing and is young and fun- not overly produced. I don’t want her to get “too sexy for my…”

Saw you last night on OReilly. I got satellite. You looked darker and heavier and your blonde hair was shortened. But in that MIkinos Bikini photo you are so slim and trim and lovely. I get the idea about the Bikini atoll H-bomb test and the explosive new Paris fashion then-the bikini. That O Reilly wasn’t too hot for Obama. But I did not vote for anyone. IMagine that, you are becoming a big celebrity from little but well-made You Tube videos.

Yes Karl, I have been keeping tabs on Billy somewhat myself – he does seem to be quite the prodigy!

As a TA, I think it only right that you to take him [under your wing], and nurture his talent so that he may oneday grow to soar with the Eagles of Etymology.

In looking into the geneology of the Students’, he seems to come from a line of brilliant Students, and young Billy may be found to be one of the brightest Students of them all!
