I really loved this interview as we
get to see many more sides to Marina
and the way she thinks. I really appreciate
    these kinds of interviews.

I loved how Marina used the origin
of the word trend and she started her own.
It was an exciting interview to read.

Some of my chem profs used to enjoy their research so much they thought of it as a hobby-especially when they have grad students to do all the dirty work and slave in the lab. Michigan State U chem department. It seems that things in life happen for a reason. But I can see from your cheerful demeanor that you do enjoy your job.

    Dear Marina,
Congratulations on your nice interview! I’m interested in your treatment of deadlines. I’m glad you can be creative and work well under a short deadline as well as a long one! I have a monthly deadline on the 15th (unless it falls on a weekend). I’ve never missed a deadline, because I like to stay employed. With my other writing projects (my great American novel, my screenplay for the Oscars, my poetry to rival Pushkin’s), I set no deadlines, so I haven’t written much. I must proceed with your philosophy that you can be just as creative with a short deadline as with a long one!
    My word request is [deadline].
It’s a scheduled date or time for which a manuscript, project or production quota is due. Also, in prison work gangs, a deadline was marked outside of a work area where the guards would shoot you if you crossed those deadlines. I hope you make an exciting video about [deadlines].

I can’t figure out why everything after my link is blue. Only “this interview” is the link.

  • http://wired.reddit.com/sexygeeks_2008/?s=top pedanticKarl

    Hi PageDoll,
As you mentioned, “this interview” link is correct.

The next sentence is coded this way:
    <a> Internet superstar ….. </a>

The left side of the anchor is missing the href=” ”
If you believe you entered everything correctly, then you may have misstyped one of the charcters or left them off. WordPress sanitizes any errors and one gets left whith what I show.

    Thanks Karl.
The funny thing is, I didn’t put any code on either side of the text after “this inteview”.
This has happened a few times when I’ve posted a link. The link is blue and clickable, but then everything I type after the link turns blue for no reason and is not clickable and was never coded to be a link or turn blue in the first place.

    Have a good weekend! ;-)
