I agree completely. I think it is okay to introduce a topic in the main site; if it continues, then move on to a side room. Many people here (and this is what fascinates me most about this site) can discuss some very opposing ideas, but each is respectful. Beevee (for example) has some political ideas that are very strange to me at first, but after some discussion and thought, they make some sense. These are the interactions that help me the most. I have little interest in discussing a topic when someone else believes the same things I do. Where is the fun in that?

Let’s keep those creative and insightful juices flowin’, man! :cool:

Bob I tried to talk about things like this when I first joined Marina’s site. But I was quickly chastised by a few that thought the site should stay away from religious beliefs and politics. It pissed me off and I stayed away for awhile only to come back and learn not to take things to seriously and over look criticism. I learned from BillyB and Bob two men I hold dear as mentors to ignore some comments toward me and keep with my ideas and thoughts. Maybe we can start a forum just to discuss religion and politics. ;-)
