IRL should keep her, I’ve always liked the Indy car series. Too bad they had that division the last few years. Hope they can build it up again. I’ve been to the Long Beach race, fantastic weekend show. Also went to a few of the Indycar race weekends in Vancouver. Six different classes of racing on the track (streets) all weekend, lots to see & do. They killed that venue a few years back though :sad:
F1 is a little too hot politically right now, & I’m afraid “stuck up”… kinda like an “old boys” club mentality, so it seems.

I wish you would come to England sometime soon Marina! Either that or I will have to go to the states, but I don’t know if I will be allowed in.

News flash – I heard on the BBC that the Oxford Press will soon release the most comprehensive thesaurus ever complied. It’s vastly more comprehensive than a conventional thesaurus with 600,000 word histories and origins and took 44 years (!!!) to produce. It will be pre-released to academics and universities this week and I surely hope Marina gets the chance to review it. I heard it will also be available in electronic form. Look out Kindle!

I watched Marina’s lesson on how to get a date (as I understood it, teacher’s advice was to make a woman feel inadequate…commenting on her hair, whatever…weird to imagine, maybe it’s a Russian thing) so I’ve tried EVERY way I could think of to make Marina feel insecure and inadequate- no date! Duh! Oh well, guess I’ll go fly fishing instead.

Ok, Hawk, here is the strategy. During the early part of the meal, be aloof and above it all. Imagine you’re riding the thermals. Then, just after the entree but just before you get your iced tea refilled, swoop down on her and pummel(pummle :?: ) her with a flurry of verbal anecdotes and compliments designed to keep her off balance. ‘Your eyes are pretty, they don’t make your head look so small’ and ‘I love LA. Where else will you see a green sunset?’ are good ones. When shes woozy, back off again and act uninterested until her limo pulls up. When she puts on the glad-to-meet-ya deal with her hand out, parry that down with your left, step through it, and encircle her with your right arm around her waist. Dip her back deep, look her in the eye, and(before her security pummels{pummles :?: }you) say, “Thanks for the chow, babe”. Stand her back up and step. DO NOT look back. Always leave’em wantin’ more.
