the word “abstraction” in art actually means to be free from representational qualities. this is an example of character art which normally disregards the limitations of realistic representation.

There are those, perhaps many, who consider non-representational art to be great art. I do not deem non-representational art to be worthy of consideration (the links given in 2.1.1 are to art that is representational).

In regard to the caricature of this post, I would not have know that it was supposed to be a caricature of Marina had it not been for the words in it.

Hey Al, it looks like you have captured the fun side of Marina. I think you’ve captured her spirit nicely. It reminds me of Betty, Veronica, Daisy Duke kind of girl and you brought your own style to the rendering. Great piece of art. Well it only makes sense to have a risque cartoon considering that’s what your videos are. It fits in perfectly. However, I think he took too much artistic license with the picture. Everyone who has seen your videos knows your boobs always hang out of the top of your outfit and not the bottom. That’s totally unrealistic. :roll:
