I think YouTube is just like a thousand other companies who started out with a beautiful concept but became successful faster than it’s creators anticipated; resulting in a commercial entity barely able to support itself — based on what Marina just said. Unfortunately, in order to survive in a capitalist enviroment most companies have to walk the fine line between keepin’ it real and selling out, so to speak. But history tells us over & over again: Too much power can pollute even the purest intentions.

Marina if Youtube is selling out to the big networks and major companies like Disney, they have become Screwyoutube. They are trying to stifle creativity and suppress free speech and make us all good little consumer sheep. I say SCREW YOUTUBE! It’s time “SOMEBODY” started a channel just like the old Youtube, offering what they used to offer.

That is correct logischabbaubar, I saw Marina’s video pop up many times this morning in the “Being Watched Now” section.

In addition to that, I also saw Marina’s video in the Featured Videos section.

Adds are the only thing that keep YouTube alive…
That doesn’t sound right.

A bad dream of mine would be when YT will limit traffic on the site, and start charging the users. One day we will have to pay for our currently free lessons. I’m afraid that this is the direction things are taking, if there won’t be any other solutions.
