I just pasted an image of a cartoon of mine on my YouTube channel, and it looks either a little fuzzy or pixelated, and it mentions an error on my page. I uploaded it from my Paint Accessory, but when I open my image file on my computer, it looks all blotchy with like-colors around the outlined image when I magnify in a few times. :???:

I just had a freaking weird dream. I was helping Marina open her new store at a mall I think. The carpet was a thick baby blue/green color. I thought it was awful color but it was Marina’s choice and that’s what she wanted, so I was going with it. Maybe later I could convince her it how horrible it looked. Walls where of a dark wood on the lower half and upper half was white. I had hired like 8 people to set up the store and I was managing the whole three ring circus. We had large white sales counter in place and I walked around it and there was Marina wearing a dress similar to the color of the carpet. She stood like a foot taller than I. I looked at her for the first time in person and said, “OMG it’s really you in person”. As she turned to look at me only briefly and said, “We said we weren’t going to do this.” and then turn to one of the girls and talked about some other thing. I walked to the back of the store and notice that all I had on was white socks, blue jeans, and some crappy white shirt that was not tucked in all the way. I was mortified as all hell. I don’t even wear jeans unless I’m painting a ship. I only own one pair and I plan to get rid of them. I wear dockers,casual leather boat shoes, and some collared shirt no tie. Anyways back to the dream. Now this was the first time I had seen her face to face and she gave me this glaring look. I wanted to find her again and apologize for my appearance and go home to get my normal cloths on. At that time I realized this was only a dream for I would never be caught dead in a pair of blue jeans. I was putting the clues together that the carpet sucked (M would never pick that color), Marina didn’t greet me, and I was under dressed. As I looked at the faded blue jeans I woke up. My dreams are so vivid I have a hard time telling if it’s real or not. It’s even put me into trouble thinking I finished a project when really I have not.

Any of you have strange dreams?

All I could say is upload a higher resolution. YT will still convert it to a jpeg but it might look a tad bit better.

I rarely remember my dreams. I wish I did have vivid dreams. :cry:

As a kid, I remember seeing an episode of The Jetsons where Elroy was watching TV in school on his watch. I thought that was the coolest thing. Now that they have TV on my phone, I could care less. Of course I really don’t watch TV. IMO, there’s too much stuff to do in the world to waste time watching that box.

No you don’t. Vivid dreams are not that good. Foggy ones are best. Also I try to forget my dream for they mess things up. That said they do expand my thinking of complex thoughts. Like trying to visualize a world of 10 dimensions and one of time for a total of 11 dimensions. Now one must have to have some sort of imagination to see this. If the elusive graviton is discovered then that would add that we are on the right track of proving the existence of 11 dimensions. Maybe we will then figure out what Issac Newton could not figure out. What made the apple fall onto his head. Btw, he never discovered gravity. He only was able to calculate it. Albert could explain how it affected large objects. No one can explain what it is, as a sub atomic form.

You’re correct that dreaming is a way for the mind to digest thought and solve problems. Though the solutions are meaningless but the brain feels much better for doing it.

I do not remember many of my dreams, these days. My dreams are extremely vivid, very realistic. I would often get confused whether an experience was a dream or a lived experience. I always assumed that everybody’s dreams were this realistic, however I learned that many people’s dreams are in black and white, have no sound, etc. I also know that it is absolutely false that one cannot die in his or her dreams; I have done it many times, and (as Lady M says) it sux. :roll:

That’s why I use the word vacuums. It takes care of both words. :wink: :smile:

I had a really long message razzing FB about the phones and my weekly tune up started by Windows Live One Care. You stated what I was going to tell him. Read my mind did you. Swammie Jack? :lol:

since you were bothered about the color of the carpet, in “dream element” terms this suggests there is something more to the dream which you can seek to understand.

If you have the same dream again you may want to quickly view the carpet and then begin to view around the room until you see if the carpet matches the drapes or not.

I call it “twitter on a rope” now you can twitter in the bathroom risk free, thus avoiding pesky unwanted gadget drops & “sploshes” because one slip and- “oops!” if you drop your messaging device in the toilet bowl you’ll be bummed!

I had a dream about a year ago and in the dream I was running for my life because everyone knew there was going to be a nuke attack. I was at some freeway interchangeand making my way(running)for the lowest drainage ditch. Now whats odd is I had my Moms dog Skip with me, even though he had been dead for 6 months at the time of the dream. But whats really freaky is I have my own dog now, and his name is Skip :shock: …thats him up in the left cornner.
Have I sealed my fate by naming him Skip? OH NO!!! :???:

You know whats weird about dreams? It seems like the feeling and emotions are ultra -amplified during dreams. At least for me, I have never felt such sadness, loss, despair, right down to the center of my bones… Way more that anytime I’ve been awake.

For all we know, it is possible that we are continuously moving through “parallel” dimensions as part of the natural process of the Universe. Our movement through “the space between space” would resemble a brownian motion, from our perceived reality. “Empty” space physics allows us to see some of the effects. Because reality follows time, and time is relative, we wouldn’t feel this motion anymore than we can feel the earth spin. Therefore, we may be interdimensional beings; not the magnetic-alien-crystal-skeleton critters from the last Indiana Jones movie. (heh heh) :mrgreen:

OK, since you asked…and speaking of vivid dreams:

About ten years ago, I dreamed I walked into a corner grocery at 3rd and Wells in Renton, Washington, and found myself transported back about a century to an old-fashioned general store. Two or three men were standing at the counter with the store owner, chatting in Welsh. :???:

A little over a year ago, a letter appeared in the Renton newspaper from a Welshman, one Mr Roberts, looking for long-lost cousins in Renton. I did some research and discovered that there HAD been a general store at 3rd and Wells owned by a Welshman, Thomas Harries — the grandfather of the cousins. Using some of what I remembered from the dream, I managed to locate the cousins — who incidentally had been looking for Mr Roberts — and put the American and Welsh branches of the family back in contact. :grin:

Harries, who died in 1945, has reputedly haunted the dreams of other descendants of the Renton Welsh community. :shock:

I also heard it was a myth of people dieing in their dreams. I have an extreme fear of heights and always wake up when I fall. I keep forgetting that I have flying abilities in dream land, but I tend to bump into things so I really need to work on that. :oops:

There is not special interpretation. My mind randomly puts in things that don’t make any sense. I just play along with the show and see where it leads to.
She did give me this sort of glaring look as one were to say I see you but I’m not going to give you the time of day.

For me, the emotions are about the same in RL, but I get more satisfaction of experience my emotions in dreams. Freedom to express them I guess? Also I get over unhappy emotions in dreams so I feel a bit better the next day.

Well, perhaps Marina glared at you because you were dressed like Fonzie. You said you didn’t like to dress that way and it stands to reason you’d want to wear casual clothing being a captain who enjoys boating and the openess of the sea.

I had a dream where Lisa Nova was glaring at, but she was smiling at me and she kept moving towards me until she stuck her knee into my stomach and pushed me down on my bed. She was on me like in a wrestler position and had my arms held down and then she grabbed a wooden hobby horse with tassles and was whipping the tassles across my face and then I guess I snapped out of the dream because that’s all I remember about that.

I’m 5′ 7″ and she was wearing platform high heals that put her up to like 6′ 5″ I guess. I still don’t like platform shoes.
No smells. I think that’s for I don’t really pay attention to smells.
About the eye’s was that it was not friend friendly. The glance was so short I could not see a thing. It was the first time we met in person and I felt a bit ignored or unappreciated. Typical behavior I’ve seen before. Which I felt a bit at odds for some people great me like a happy puppy personality. I get this ‘What did I do wrong or normal female defensive look. You know the kind of look not to look interested for the guy might try to come on to you. My sister does this all the time to guys.

What you describe I have heard about many times. That’s quite interesting. I know this one lady that has accurately predicted her future events through dreams. I believe things can be explained though scientific experimentation. I’m not one for hocus pocus magical whiz bang. There is always a trick or science fact that can explain why or how something works. It’s just a matter of time to figure it out.

I don’t think it was because of what I was wearing. I had no shoes on as I didn’t finish dressing. My mind put that image there for whatever reason.
When I’m working on the cruise ship I start out wearing a uniform. Then I work my way down to PJ’s. The passengers love my PJ’s for I have like 10 sets. I was a bit shy about it but when the boss would wear the funny PJ’s I would follow suit. We have and idea that if the crew puts on PJ’s in the evening we can get our guest to follow suit. It works. Now they put away the fancy gowns and put on their PJ’s. It’s kind of cool to see famous people kick back and put their feet up. One reason we get booked solid a year in advance.

Super String theory predicts the possibilities of moving through parallel universes (not dimensions as I understand it).
We don’t feel anything when traveling through space for we need gravity pulling or pushing us. We are also at speed. If I were to jump off and come to a sudden stop I think I would feel it. Maybe….No I don’t think I would for I would need a great force to stop all my atoms at once. So I conclude I would not feel a thing.
Yes you should to go to PBS.org and look up the elegant universe. Watch the free videos. I had a chance to meet Brian Greene in person when he stopped in Seattle. I missed him for some stupid reason. I just remember I was pissed. The was this other professor I was able to meet but I forget his name. I’ll try to find his book. He covered similar stuff as Brian did. Btw to see Brian Greene on stage is was like $200 bucks.

Yeah I guessed as much from an old TMZ video of a movie star that was standing next to her. He was 5’7″ also. Still at 5’7″ and any platform shoe she would be much taller. Not that I have any issue with women taller than I, I just think platform shoes are ugly. :cool:
