Well, it certainly helps if one is looking at the correct video - you sure led us up the garden path with this one, Jack, albeit unintentionally - but the Easter Egg is all but undetectable because it has been inserted so skilfully.
I took a screenshot and blew it up to 600% in MS Paint, and the inserted square with Gorby in it is positioned to pixel-point accuracy and the colour matching is so close that, even at that magnification, I can only just make out the join.
Another brilliant trick from our busty Hotforwords. (Can't call her trusty any more. )

.
Speculation on Source and Method

In "Out-Takes 1", note how Gorby squirms while licking her fingers. The movements of his head while being held in her arms are similar to the movements of his head in Contumelious. So did Marina take a few still images of Gorby's nape, head and face as he squirmed in her arms, insert the stills into the Contumelious lesson and have the software render those stills into motion video?

If the above speculation is correct, then this is indeed an excellent easter egg -- one that has been hidden so skillfully (meaning, the animation has been so well done) that it could never have been found had it not been for the copious hints.

Yes there is some other lesson he was in. I don't know which lesson it was and my internet is rather slow so I'm not able to research this.

Gorby is a scene hog! He just has to be in the shots. Funny little guy. I think it's cute. It add lots of flavor to Marina's videos.

I believe that it was just a general comment for Gorby is starving for attention. Gorby is just like a little child that aways wants to play.

My understanding: There is some other lesson in which Gorby does those antics for real as a part of the scene. (This other lesson is not the Out Takes lesson.) Marina did a "cut and paste" from that other lesson into the Contumelious lesson. If such a lesson exists, which is that lesson in which Gorby's antics are for real as a part of the scene?
