clichÃ© ... well ... i guess most people would say it&#039;s already a loan word. i&#039;d argue against that.
there are words in english used with diacritics although english doesn&#039;t have them. to me that means that those words are not modified, or adapted, enough to be loan words. so, i&#039;d see &quot;clichÃ©&quot; (with accent aigu) as a foreign word.
as i said, you could argue about that. it&#039;s probably the same question as, can planes fly, or can ships swim.</description>
