This is like the CNN of Russia and they seem to talk about me quite a bit in this bit.   The version on the website is unwatchable (SLOW) so PedanticKarl ripped a version for you to see. Thanks PK :-) Here is a link to the original article.

    Seemed to load ok for me & was quite watchable, even on the work ‘puter… your new HD vids don’t work very well here though, need to watch in “regular” from Youtube. Didn’t understand anything but the names from the russian “lite” news. Good stuff for you though :cool:

    Yes, that was rough here.
    I got, Marina wants to raise the tax on gas to encourage young girls to show lotsa clevage.
    It will decide the course of elections and set the course of the economic future.
    Both Putin and Bush have responded to the video.
    Russian fighter jets have shot a chinese guy in the head.

    The commercial that followed was nice.

    More likely it’s the trans-atlantic connections because I got this video streaming without any stutters, whereas Marina’s videos and YouTube generally are glacially slow.

    In short, for those who don’t speak Russian: Only the first part is about Marina (after that, there were no more pictures of her, so that’s still easy).
    There’s a competition on wired.com, where you can vote for the sexiest people on the web. Among the top ten: Marina Orlova (aka hotforwords). Four places behind her: the Women’s Chess World Champion Alexandra Kostiniuk. â„–s 1&2: actress Kerry Pyron (not sure about spelling, check for yourself), and Tina Fey (host of some show). Even Obama and Steve Jobs are somewhere in there.
    Then it goes on about banks, the financial crisis and a law-suit between a bank and someone who said something bad about it.
    I’ll spare you the commercial.

    The video is not cached to the hard drive and only in RAM.
    It looks like only the non-US (James, Billy, etc) were able to see it w/o stuttering. It stuttered for me also, and I have a high speed connection and PC. Assuming the streaming was not the only issue, it looks like the video stream may also have been throttled for the US?

    I have an offline version for you Marina.
    Check your mesgs in about 30 min.

    As koalabear pointed out, you have to click NEXT at the bottom of the frame, then scroll down to find Marina. Wired Mag didn’t make it very user friendly. Here is a more user friendly link.
    Just make sure to verify that your vote gets registered.
    Check the number of votes before and after.
