Had good times on South Bass, but better on Middle Bass at Lonz Winery when I was a Tween. The young adults would loosen the restraint on the champagne bottles and the corks would pop bouncing off a high ceiling. Great cheers would follow. (Lonz closed to the public when too many people celebrated on a balcony which collapsed and killed some people.) My dad took me along as the designated driver. He and his friend would swish around the 16' boat with wine bottles in hand as I navigated the choppy waters and bailed the boat with a tin can at the same time. Cheers!
