That’s freaking awesome dude! Made like a pro, or you might be a pro. You do video editing professionally? I like how you showed a comparison of the two commenter’s. It really sums it up. Love the part of Marina kicking butt there. I thought I might have to teach Marina a few kicks but it looks like she is doing well on her own. Thanks Captn. No, I am not a professional video editor nor do I work in the industry. It’s been a hobby for a long time. I share similar passions with Steven Spielberg. I live in the left brain analytical world and have been trying to develop my right brain in the visual arts as well as other areas of interest such as poetry (what you are doing) and story writing and story telling. I think it has become a lost art in some ways and I am glad that Marina sets a great example in how she develops and delivers her videos. I have a ton of respect for her doing that.

Hi chevolay, I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio ver 6. the low end retail edition to edit the video. I think they are at ver 9 now with four different editions.

Thank you formaking, editing and posting that video. Now I know I need to get a good camcorder plus some good movie editing software. I know it’ll cost alot, but I’ll see what they have at the local Apple computer store…. :sad: I’ve been a Microsoft user for a long time!

Well, Marina herself said Apple is a better format. It’s reported to have fewer viruses and other problems than Microsoft. When I upgraded to the Vista OS two years ago, I found I couldn’t load old software, so I still keep a Windows ME computer operational to use the older “Office” software suite. It’s cheaper than buying new software for the Vista OS.

seesixcm6, pedanticKarl uses a PC.. and you can as well.. just get that Sony Vegas program.. it seems to be the most popular one among PC users. I only mentioned the Mac to James as he kept encountering viruses as he’s always downloading programs from the net that he shouldn’t be :-)

i’v downloaded over 500gigs in the last few months form warrez and torrents , still awaiting my first virus allert :lol: (downloading copyrighted material is legal over here :mrgreen: )

Pinacle studio is also a pretty cool editing program for xp and vista.

This topic is up and working once again by chance. I started to think more hardly and some comments below raise many doubts in my mind: Why is pedanticKarl so devoted to some people whom he doesn’t even know personally. He is a very intelligent and smart man. Why is he still helping to maintain this site for free and without any personal benefits? Why Marina goes along with the fact of being insanely worshiped by a group of men (some of them with a sort of obsession by her), adding fuel to the fire? Why are some men from here unable to stop making a lot of sexual innuendos? Isn’t Marina a little mantis that feeds on blood of her obsessive fans? Sometimes I don’t know what to think about all of them, I also don’t know which of my suspicions are real.

Yeah, she is. She feeds off the energy that her obsessive fans give her, so she is somewhat of a praying mantis. But remember, it’s all for the money! ;)….it makes the world go round.

1. Did you know that nearly every one of your questions actually contains the answer? Turn the question around, and you will have the answer. Many of your questions are putting the cart before the horse.

2. Many of your questions are transcendental and therefore my answers to you would be that I am transcendent. In other words I am beyond any notion or concepts which you may be familiar with since you are making assumptions based on the familiarity of your own values and circumstances.

The subject of sexual innuendos has been discussed in countless literature, debates, essays and so on. Simply put, some people do things because they get a kick out of it. Some people get kicks by being nice and some people get kicks by using lots of sexual innuendos. We’re sexual beings and it’s just part of the landscape.
