Here is my 13th installment of my Maxim Radio Show…
I discuss two bawdy (dirty) words. PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN to this show if you have a problem with bawdy words. Since slang words are a part of language, I feel that it is fine for me to discuss their origins.

Catch me on Maxim Radio on Sirius – Every other Friday morning at 8-8:30 am PST

During the show call in at 888-99-MAXIM (62946) to participate in the game!

    HotForWords,

I’d call these more bawdy terms then slang.
I think slang has a more benign connotation.
But I really you admire your ability to deal frankly and openly with the subjects.

сладостная Marina, I hope you don’t have to use language like that very often, and I hope you don’t associate with people who say things like that at all. I guess these words had entertainment value for this radio show. The problem it may cause is, which words will you use for the next show? Do you need to find even dirtier words? Maybe you can “lighten up” a bit? Still, you probably find dirtier words in the commentary you receive each day! seesixcm6

As soon as I heard the 2nd possible origin of the 2nd word I also thought of ‘Beat It’

Good luck with your upcoming photoshoot Marina  It sounds exhausting trying to find enough suitable clothes that you want, plus all the wardrobe changes.

    …..that was just wrong…. :???:
the whale part got me thinking…why do they call it a “sperm” whale…. :?:
I called a woman a whore yesterday…I should go back and say something more evil  I normaly wouldn’t say such a thing but that woman got me so mad aargh I almost hit her.

  • animalntaz

I don’t think she neccesarily has to do so many pictures for her book. She is smart enough as it is to make room for more words.

OMG! Marina you blew me away on this one! I guessed #1 for the second game. I was shocked that the word had a nautical origin. I even tried to look it up in some of my books. I see companion books are somewhat limited. I guess you slam dunked me on that word. Wow, I really don’t know what to say. Im speechless. Good job Marina. Your Kung Fu is good. I bow to you. I await for the next match. Bring it on girl!
