So many diverse opinions about the Venue...

One thing you do Marina, is attract widely diverse people into a common experience of learning through exposure to new things...

A VERY worthy result of your efforts - the essence of Education...and helps create more common understanding where little existed before.

I don't imagine you anticipated the far-reaching effect when you set out to do this...good for you!

It's something to remember when things can distract you...keep it up!

As requested, I emailed O'Reilly and asked him to get you back. That email included a compliment to him that he was "as nice as could be". With the request to get you back, I also asked him to not interrupt you.

You can do better than O'Reilly but, of course, you have to get your breaks where you can or when you can. No doubt you will be invited by better hosts. We are looking forward to that.

O'Reilly brings to mind a word request for "Spin" as in "No Spin Zone". The political context of the show would indicate the slang meaning which is a particular viewpoint or bias especially in the media, i.e. slant.

I do get tired of Bill constantly bad mouthing the internet in general, but the load of negative commentary on this thread reminds me of how full of truly out of touch people the net does seem to be.

He's the single most popular news dude on cable and nowhere near as horrible as people try to pretend. Most importantly, he's really open about his own slant which just makes it easier to judge what he says. He has no hidden agendas at all. His agendas are all right out in the open. He doesn't dance around trying to make things he believes look like something else just for popularity's sake.

I saw the segment thanks to mclajizz and the link he provided in a comment further on down the page. HotForWords was in good form and thoroughly delightful, and O'Reilly was full of himself as usual.

Everyone of the pundits on tv and radio earn such negative praise.
Conservatives can be relied upon to despise the liberal pundits,
and in mirror fashion the liberals hate the conservative pundits.
I find them all repugnant, which is fortunate for me in that I can alot
more of my tv viewing time to sports, history and science shows.
