    Dunce?

  • badboy

For the past two hours, I have been thinking that it was ‘Faux’ because clothings are now being called this, but I knew that it was false.

  • andrej

    It means the number 8

  • http://www.pangeacorp.com onomatopoeia

    The word is, indeed, dunce.
It comes from John Duns Scotus.

The article of clothing is a Dunce Cap.

    Great challenge.

    Arrgghh!

  • quoddity

I was at one time such a Dunce, as in John Duns Scotus.
    Now I have you!

Not such a fun of his philosophy, but… there’s a good write up by the Catholics on him at http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/05194a.htm.

It is John Duns Scotus. The clothing item is the “duns cap”. I love you Marina!

  • flying fox

John Duns Scotus is the answer, but it seems that others have already gotten it. Such is the problem with being in Iraq and always a day behind everyone else in the world.

    Very subtle challenge. Thanks.

I came up with John Duns Scotus the 13th century theolgian. Who wore pointed conical hats thinking it would funnel knowledge into him (sounds more like he wanted to be Merlin the wizard). Later the Dunce Cap was named and used as a punishment by making unruley students were it.

  • sgtduckie77

The word is dunce, after John Duns Scotus, and the clothing item is a dunce hat.

In the old guess the words, they seemed like the word was like sex or something. haha

  • maria9810

I think it’s Dunce. dunce (cap) (by the way how do you rate Marina’s videos??!)

  • http://www.youtube.com/CheVolay Che Volay

Maria, you can only rate on You Tube, put a tab up in your browser with the email address you used here and as you get a reply you will see the incoming email, in Yahoo anyway not sure if it’s the same for all.

Anyone else find this installments outfit a lil intimidating. Sexy but kind of eighties. I love hotforprofits but Marina’s fashion sense is much more entertaining.

  • leonard
